Reminder : the Lum\u00e9ville Station and the anti-nuclear struggle<\/strong>
\nLa Gare was purchased in 2007 to oppose the CIGEO nuclear landfill project imposed by ANDRA (National Radioactive Waste Management Agency). It is under the village of Bure that the most radioactive waste in France will be stored for 100,000 years<\/strong>. All this, so that we can, through nuclear energy, use Artificial Intelligence, have a third fridge, or produce weapons of mass destruction.
\nLa Gare is located on the path of the railway that must transport nuclear waste to the basement. An expropriation procedure has been launched by ANDRA which can legally take possession of the land since October 11, 2025 (read the previous text from 10\/05\/2025<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the administrative fight<\/strong>
\nThe first phase of the expropriation of La Gare<\/strong>, which lasted 18 months, ended on 11 October<\/strong>. It is clear that we have not left the place<\/strong>. The fact of being expropriated does not mean that the cops intervene directly. The ANDRA has therefore launched a new procedure to obtain recourse to public force<\/strong>, that is to say an army of gendarmes, to dislodge us. On November 5, 2025, during a hearing at the court of Bar-le-Duc, we learned that this procedure was poorly addressed : to the former owners rather than to the current occupants of La Gare. This error delays a little the moment when the cops will have the approval of the justice to attack.
\nIt is difficult to estimate when this procedure will be completed. A first hearing will be held on December 17, 2025<\/strong>, but it does not yet correspond to the time of the legal decision-making for expulsion, which could occur several weeks later.<\/p>\n

The expulsion of La Gare<\/strong>
\nJust as we illegally occupy La Gare, the state can try to dislodge us in a devious manner<\/strong>. ANDRA could send an army of private security agents to fire us, but would expose them to a response from us. Similarly, the cops could take advantage of a flagrante delicto situation to carry out a search of La Gare, whether or not related to the occupation and the resistance. But in these two cases, they would then have to maintain a physical presence to prevent reoccupation, and a gendarmerie squadron or private security would not be enough. If this risk is not zero, the most likely hypothesis is that of a more spectacular intervention<\/strong> as during the eviction from the Bois Lejuc in 2018<\/a>, which requested 500 gendarmes.<\/p>\n

La Gare, a place to defend<\/strong>
\nDespite these small administrative specificities, we consider that La Gare remains an area to be urgently defended against the police threat. For a few weeks, the checks of gendarmes have intensified<\/strong>. The Bourgoin-Jailleu squadron, which has been there since the end of October, is particularly aggressive : violent interpellation in front of the Augustine bar for Halloween (read a text on the subject), night operations around La Gare to break barriers at the end of October, intervention on November 3 at several entrances to the field to provoke us, observe us, and free passages that we had barricaded. This harassment exists to exhaust us, and discourage the new energies that frequently come to support La Gare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the area, without directly participating in the occupation, it is possible to take part in the resistance :
\n\u2022 by coming to disrupt the harassment controls in the area around Bure and La Gare,
\n\u2022 by inquiring about the changes in gendarmerie squadron (which will make it possible to distinguish if the current harassment is due to individual initiatives or hierarchical directives),
\n\u2022 by taking photos of cops who exceed limits (controls, intrusions on private land or at La Gare…).<\/p>\n

Call to come, in a pack!<\/strong>
\nDespite the threat of eviction, La Gare continues to live. Illegality is only an administrative act of which we care little but which is a real motivation to continue to keep the struggle alive.
\nUntil next spring, we must ensure that La Gare remains alive and abundant<\/strong> despite the winter cold. We renew our call to come for a few days, a few weeks or even settle here<\/strong>. We call on antinuclear groups everywhere to organize information sessions at home to talk about the news of the struggle in Bure<\/strong>, then to set up teams to come here as a pack<\/strong> (for a weekend, a week, several weeks…) between now and spring 2026. Spreading resistance<\/strong>
\nLa Gare is an important bulwark against CIGEO, each day that passes to occupy it slows down his progress. But let us keep in mind that ANDRA is beginning a major phase of work<\/strong> : on the railway, in the Bois Lejuc, with the construction of a new gendarmerie, by titanic drilling, etc. La Gare is not an end in itself, but it is a place conducive to retaliation.<\/p>\n
