On Monday 16 August, the Les Rayonnantes camp was officially launched! A look back at the camp\u2019s preparation period.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a><\/a> station of Lum\u00e9ville en Ornois. We build many wooden structures: dry toilets, showers, bars, benches, tables, shelves \u2026 and even a rocking chair! This weekend a competition of the most beautiful wood constructions will be organized hehe! Barnums, tents and even solar panels are growing like mushrooms.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Our days are well filled. At 9 o’clock is the construction meeting where we share the things to get done. At 12:30 a delicious meal is served and at 14:00 the welcoming tour for arriving people. And then at 18h30 there is the opportunity to read the messages written during the day in the shout box. We end the day with the time of the rocks, a time in small groups where we can share our experiences from the day, our celebrations and frustrations.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Lots of great things are happening every day, for example a multicoloured children\u2019s area, bars decorated with thousands of lights, vegan pancakes with speculoos cream (yes yes yes yes), arrivals of several kilos of beets and mirabelle plums, sign boards, giant games like \u00abfox-hens-vipers\u00bb, a free-shop , a folk ball under a starry sky, the tons of water that fill up (not by magic), some readings from the tarot with candle, artivism to express our creativity, the infokiosk and the library growing\u2026 There are also all the meetings of the self-management groups, the listening group and the assault management group, the day and night program that changes every day\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a><\/a> And then there are also all the work on systemic struggles and their intersectionality, including projects in chosen mixity, new workshops and discussions, a decolonial caravan, the queer space that is being prepared\u2026<\/p>\n
