– A shuttle phone is available, you can contact it if you need a ride for the last kilometers, we will arrange to pick you up. It’s on +33 7 44 13 62 11 (in SMS or call), and on Signal (preferably!) or via XMPP (shitake@xmpp.is)
– An infotrafflic phone (to report/inform about police checks around Bure) is joingnable at : + 33 7 51 31 46 49 in SMS/call, on signal or on XMPP (coprin@xmpp.is)
Don’t forget to bring warm clothes, a good sleeping bag (if possible), a headlamp (and if you can bring blankets it will always be useful)

Flu, Covid and other diseases…
In addition to COVID, it is the flu season (including the so-called avian flu that is increasingly transmitted to humans and which we fear a big epidemic this year, the fault of the farms…). So it’s cool to prepare for the idea of wearing a mask during the event and to take warm clothes so that we can regularly ventilate the rooms. You can still do a PCR test (for free in fRance) by going to the lab to check that you don’t have COVID before coming. Doing this is important, it prevents the Bestiales from becoming a cluster, and that it is the most oppressed people who suffer the most serious consequences.
Some practical informations:
For practical aspects, if you come by car, do not hesitate to put it on mobicoop for carpooling (Bure is in destinations), also check if people have posted lifts. If you want to arrive by train, you can aim for Joinville or Bar-le Duc. From Bar-le-Duc, a bus takes you to Ligny-en-Barrois (bus times), be careful, there are very few buses on Sunday! A phone number will be available soon on the event page to pick you up in Joinville or Ligny. Do not hesitate to hitchhike otherwise 🙂

Otherwise, help with translating the workshops into English will always be needed. Don’t hesitate to send us an email at rencontres-animales@immerda.ch (for that or something else 🙂 ). If you can make some dumpster diving on the way, or bring back some food you’d like to share (fruits, jams, spreads, …) it will be welcome 🙂 By the way, we will cook only vegan food. We always need people to prepare/set up things (from 17 February) and to tidy up things (until 26 February). In any case, as always, the houses are completely open before and after!
Don’t hesitate to take headlamps, a sleeping bag and earplugs.
