The Maison de Resistance (also called BZL, for “Bure Zone Libre”), is a collective house purchased in 2004 as part of the fight against the CIGEO project, a radioactive waste disposal.
It is a large house, located in the village of Bure, which was thought as a place of resistance and organization of various struggles (antinuclear, but not only!). Some people also live there for the more or less long term. In recent years, various projects have taken place to improve the spaces (creation of new spaces, reorganisation of the kitchen, etc.)
It is a place suitable for holding events/meetings, especially due to the large spaces (salle multi, heated sleepings), equipment (sound system, video projector, kitchen equipment, printers…)
Would you like to organize an event there – public or not (discussions, concerts, screenings, artistic residencies…) ?
