As part of the DR0 (preliminary work for CIGÉO), for a few weeks work has begun in the Bois Lejuc.
A “base life” with prefabricated buildings, generators… hosts security guards 24/24, paid to monitor the construction sites [GPS point : 48.516352,5.380570]
Boreholes have started to be drilled [notably here : 48.518185,5.380597], concretely, we can observe tubes (from 1 to 2m) emerging from the ground, surrounded by grillage

Other boreholes are marked by construction cones but not yet drilled

During the day, workers are busy there, at night guards make rounds…
Some traces of passage were left there, despite the presence of nearby security guards and the ban on walking in the Bois Lejuc, we’ll come back!

Note that at other locations in the territory, notably between Bure and Mandres, there are also drillers [for example here : 48.498898,5.374428 and there : 48.495855,5.371767]
