Call for support for La Gare on May 1st
La Gare was evicted this Monday, April 20, 2026. We call on anyone concerned by this eviction to take action in support of the eviction on 1 May.
In this particular moment for the struggle in Bure against CIGEO where many people have lost their homes, all support is extremely valuable. So send us visuals of your banners, tags, or send us letters, texts, postcards, declarations to strengthen our collective determination to oppose CIGEO and support us. We would be particularly pleased to see thoughts for La Gare in the various processions on May 1st.
In previous communications, we called for an on-site gathering on Saturday the 8th after the eviction, which would have been Saturday, May 2nd. It seems to us today that this date is not relevant because the situation has changed since these appeals. We invite you to read the various texts written on Bureburebure that explain what happened on the weekend of 18-19-20 April.
We will keep you informed as soon as a new meeting date has been set in the Meuse to respond to the eviction of the old Luméville station. In any case, the fight against CIGEO has only just begun and, in this future story that we will write together, it is certain that the former Luméville station will continue to play a decisive role.
