We are relaying here the call for donations from No Name Kitchen, a collective active at the Morocco/Spain border in Ceuta :
“In recent days, thousands of people have arrived in Ceuta by swimming, completing an incredibly harsh crossing. They arrive with wounds, jellyfish stings, hunger, thirst, and in shock.
This is not an invasion. It’s a desperate search for a future.
No Name Kitchen has been working in Ceuta since 2021. We know the ground, we know what’s there and what’s missing, and we know how to help in a way that’s inclusive, dignified, and discreet — without instrumentalizing this crisis or turning a tragedy into a spectacle.
We’re strengthening our team with more activists on the ground and we need funds for food and basic necessities (socks, underwear, shoes) that we’ll distribute urgently, effectively, and without discrimination to those most vulnerable.
Give a hand if you can. If not, share this. You can also reach out to donate clothing or to help out on the ground.
Long live freedom of movement. Down with border violence and the institutional hypocrisy that externalizes borders while exploiting migrant labor.”
Do donate, it’s here : https://donorbox.org/emergency-solidarity-with-ceuta
