Hearing for the eviction of La Gare and excavators

Soon : the hearing of the request for the use of public force to expropriate La Gare and continue the work of the DR0 (first part of the CIGEO project/experimental phase) at the old station in Luméville-en-Ormois.

We meet in front of the court of Bar-le-Duc at 13 o’clock on February 11, the hearing will start at 14:00, there will be an opportunity to follow the hearing in the room then some speaking in front of the court with pancakes and an info-kiosk. Then for people who would like there will be a banquet at La Gare, we will share a good meal.

 

This trial could postpone by a few weeks, or even more, a certain expulsion, but ANDRA does not intend to slow down the work on its project. Indeed, in parallel with these legal processes, Andra continues the work of the DR0, until sending the excavators to the field right next to La Gare today to start the archaeological excavations.

Several options are possible following this hearing and we will keep you informed on bureburebure.info as soon as possible.

Here are the options :

Either the hearing does not allow all the points of the file to be judged or the court is not able to judge the file and a new hearing will be scheduled later and therefore La Gare would theoretically not be legally evicted until the date of the next hearing, or even until deliberate.

Either the hearing deals with all the issues and a deliberation date will be announced very soon, from that moment on La Gare becomes legally evictable using legitimate state violence.

It is also possible that the incapacity of the court of Bar-le-Duc will be announced in this same deliberation, because ANDRA is a company and it is therefore the administrative tribunal of Nancy which must judge the dispute, which would allow us to obtain a judicial stay of a few weeks or even months.

In any case, La Gare remains busy. You can come at any time to discuss, participate in life, prevent the works from happening, organize against ANDRA, fight against the nuclear state and capitalism.
