How to support La Gare remotely

Not everyone is able to live at La Gare or even come to the area ! But that does not mean that nothing can be done from a distance to support the fight against CIGEO or the Luméville station. Here are some ideas and do not hesitate to write to us if you have any others !

1. Organize into a support collective with the aim of organizing an action described below

  • To form a support group, we can meet after an information evening !
  • If you create an email address for this support committee, tell us at burepartout [at] riseup.net

2 Help us mobilize by talking about La Gare :

  • By organizing a screening of the latest films on Bure (the two films “Living and Fighting in Bure in 2025” on the bureburebure channel https://kolektiva.media/accounts/bureburebure/video-channels are adapted for information evenings. There are plenty of other great videos on the bureburebure channel, don’t hesitate to go see them!
  • By organizing a support party or something else to raise money.
  • By going to other events and keeping an information table about Bure : the wiki “How to organize an infotour” gives plenty of useful info about the resources you can select : https://bureburebure.info/wiki/infotour/ (in french only)
  • If you do something, let us know so we can relay what you did by writing to burepartout [at] riseup.net
  • If you need help or have questions, people from Bure can support you or even come to your events ! Once again, write to us 🙂

3 Do remote actions

  • One can be interested in ANDRA’s subcontractors like the CIGEO monster campaign that was active in 2018-2020 : https://lesmonstresdecigeo.noblogs.org/
  • You can also create support grafitti and take photos to be published on bureburebure : contact bureburebure [at] riseup.net if you wish to publish an article on the website.

4 Help us remotely for communication

  • By relaying our content on social networks : we regularly publish on the site bureburebure.info and we also have social networks : bureacuire_ on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/bureacuire_/) and bureacuire2 on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/bureacuire2/)
  • By helping us translate our articles and sending the translation to traductions-bureburebure [at] riseup.net . More info here : https://bureburebure.info/appel-a-traductions-bureburebure/
  • By reading articles that you find interesting from the library to make audio versions
  • By notifying us if there are unclear things on the site, poorly made pages or if there is incorrect information. You can write to bureburebure [at] riseup.net to talk about the website.

5. By organizing events in the area

  • Do you have ideas for events, workshops, concerts that could be organized in the area ? Several collective places can host such events ! Do not hesitate to write to us for more information and so that we can support you in your ideas 🙂

6 By preparing the day of the expulsion and the following days.

  • Either by organizing a collective departure. As a reminder, an article details things that are planned during and after the expulsion. This article notably calls for an appointment in the area on the second Saturday following the expulsion (the Saturday of the week following the expulsion)
  • Either by proposing an appointment in your city/region that we will add on bureburebure.info. Contact burepartout [at] riseup.net if you are planning an appointment during or after the eviction in your city

7. By supporting us financially
